One of only 15 startups chosen from thousands of applicants, Monalee is joining the Google for Startups Accelerator: AI for Energy.
Today, we’re proud to announce that Monalee, the parent company of Artemis, has been selected to join the Google for Startups: AI for Energy Accelerator — a prestigious 10-week program focused on leveraging AI to solve the world’s toughest energy problems.
Out of thousands of applicants across North America, Artemis was chosen as one of just 15 companies in the 2025 cohort. The program is tailored to startups using AI to optimize grid infrastructure, expand demand flexibility, and build smarter energy systems for residential, commercial, and utility-scale customers.
This recognition is more than just an honor — it’s a signal that the industry is moving toward the kind of innovation Artemis was built for.
Why Google Chose Artemis
From the beginning, Artemis was designed to push solar forward — not incrementally, but exponentially.
While most solar platforms are stuck in the past, Artemis is helping companies scale with:
- 15-second solar proposals
- AI-driven roof and shading detection
- Fully embedded financing tools
- Nationwide compliance and fulfillment
- Website-embedded instant quoting
We believe solar can be as seamless and scalable as e-commerce. That vision — of speed, accuracy, and customer-first experiences — aligns with Google’s mission to accelerate innovation in the energy space.
As part of the accelerator, our team will work directly with experts from Google and the energy industry to deepen our ML infrastructure, sharpen our product design, and scale even faster.
What This Means for Our Partners
Participation in the AI for Energy Accelerator brings tremendous benefits to Artemis and our installer network:
- Access to Google’s AI and cloud teams to accelerate innovation
- Equity-free support to keep Artemis focused on our mission
- Up to $350,000 in Google Cloud credits to scale more efficiently
- Strategic mentorship across product, growth, and technical disciplines
This partnership will help us ship new features faster, streamline integrations, and ensure Artemis remains the most powerful, cost-effective sales tool in solar.
A Big Moment for a Bigger Mission
What started as an internal tool at Monalee is now powering thousands of proposals across the U.S. — and this is just the beginning.
Joining Google’s AI for Energy Accelerator is validation that solar needs better tools, not just for sales teams, but for the grid, the climate, and the future of distributed energy.
We’re incredibly grateful to our partners, customers, and team for getting us here — and we’re more committed than ever to helping the solar industry move faster, sell smarter, and scale with confidence.
